As a professionally qualified marketer with a background in strategic marketing and business planning, Susan runs the Univesity's Business Support Office. This includes exploring links and opportunities for collaborative working with businesses, as well as managing programmes and projects that generate enterprise activities for students and staff.

Business Enterprise Coordinator
Following a career in radio-, TV- and film-post-production, Stephanie entered the education sector in a role that encouraged the creative industries sector to engage with higher-level training in order to retain a competitive position in the market place.
As Business Enterprise Coordinator at the University, Stephanie implements the Industry Mentors Programme and the coordination of short course development. She is also responsible for ensuring that students can flourish through access to enterprise activities via a new student business club 'InSparation'.

Writer-in-Residence
Robin Mukherjee is Writer-in-Residence in support of our Creative Writing students and staff. His work stretches from art house cinema to mainstream British television. Robin has written for radio and theatre and directed for both theatre and television. He has also taught extensively, mainly in universities up to and including PhD level.
In addition to numerous television specials, Robin has been a core writer on many highly successful series, helping to create and shape award-winning British dramas. He is currently developing two feature films and a new series for television
Author-in-Residence
Marcus Sedgwick is Author-in-Residence in support of creative writing students and staff at the University.
With an extensive publishing and sales career behind him in the area of children's publishing, Marcus has won many awards and earned numerous nominations for his children's novels. He regularly teaches creative writing in schools and on residential courses, as well as running workshops at festivals over the years.
Entrepreneur-in-Residence (Creative Industries)
As Entrepreneur-in-Residence, John generates enterprise activities amongst the student and gives one-to-one advice sessions for those thinking of starting their own business, to help maximise opportunities for students within the curriculum and amongst networks.

Located near Bath, Paul Clarkson, Managing Director of business consultancy PA2C Limited has had an extensive senior management career, the last 10 years at board level, in the business-to-business sector. This has included working in divisions of RHM, Thorn EMI, P&O, Compass Group and owner-managed enterprises in the UK and Eire.
Paul's specific sector experience includes food distribution, equipment manufacturing and distribution, and refreshment vending services. Paul's business, PA2C Limited, offers insight, advice and support to organisations in the business-to-business sector, seeking better outcomes from their business efficiency and development programmes, and project management activities.
Entrepreneur-in-Residence
Abdullah Ali-Ahmadi has over 30 years of management experience in private, social enterprise and public sectors. In the last 20 years Abdullah has trained, coached and advised over 60,000 individuals and businesses in Britain and internationally. In 2000, he won an Achievement Award for Services to Enterprise from SFEDI, and in 2007 he won an Institute of Business Consultants 2007 award for his contributions to business start up. Participants in seminars facilitated by Abdullah find his input invaluable. His wealth of experience coupled with his academic background enables him to facilitate excellent training programmes.
